The latest Nseries devices N82, N95 and N95 8GB have all obtained the useful support for Flash Lite 3 which enables their browsers to view full flash content including web videos from portals like YouTube or Dailymotion.
The recently published whitepaper of the upcoming new UIQ 3.0 flagship, the G900 reveals that finally also the first UIQ phone will get Flash Lite 3 support.
I am quoting from the paper: “Opera 8.0 allows full HTML browsing and support all de facto standards. It features normal or small screen rendering as well as full screen view. Includes Flash Lite 3 support (from maintenance release 1 of the phone software).

At first it’s of course great for people who contemplated with buying the G900, because only Flash Lite 3 support makes web browsing on a mobile handset a satisfying experience.
Furthermore, the fact that the Opera 8.0 browser can view Flash content means that possible firmware updates for the P1, W950, W960 and P990 could enable the mentioned devices also to support FL 3.
Hopefully SE will do similar steps like Nokia did by also supporting older UIQ devices.
